Established 2009, Fol Epi means ‘crazy wheat head’. Our name is an homage to both the tradition of French baking and the living cultures in wild yeast. From our conception as a small bakery with a brick-fired oven and our own flour mill, we’ve grown into an established staple in our community, supplying breads and treats to other lovely businesses in town. Working with small scale local producers and providing workers with meaningful employment, Fol Epi is an intentional outpost for a community driven and honest food culture in Victoria.
